Because I fade in and out of your mind
Am I alone now ?
You have set the pace and distance.
I stopped listening for your footsteps,
I stopped checking my phone for
your name to appear.
I stopped smelling your scent as you
walk by.
Always making me feel I'm in the rear..
My heart has stopped pumping when
you are near..
Feeling like a pawn,
Kicked across the lawn.
I wonder if we will ever be reborn and
spawn again."
