Sometimes

"Sometimes we open our hearts,
To seek love and comfort,
Joy, laughter and security.
Only to be ripped apart inch by inch,
Without the other even flinching.
Leaving the heart clenching.
Our eyes drenching with tears of pain and regret.
Life is all about deception,
Now my feelings are in the trenches.
Feeling like I'm in detention.
I forgot to mention,
Hurt so bad, I feel like I am in a new dimension..
Searching as I am still in need of attention..."
