Comfort

"Comfort we seek at times of need,
Usually when our hearts start to bleed.
Now if you read between the lines.
All this can happen easily,
When hurt we reach for what is light to our eyes.
And see what is fit for our kind?
Now as time flies by.
We learn how to sort what is right and what is wrong.
But when we fall, we lose sight.
All shattered in the darkest depths,
We search for the one thing to bring us to surface.
The feeling of wanted,
The complete sensation of someone taking
our fears and pain away."
