Real you, real them #lifequotes

"People say that they know you and the real you..
Or you know the real them...
Is that true ? I don't think so in anyway.
Each person we meet in life, our moods are altered,
Our chameleons come out,
We acclimatize to the situation..
The way we feel and move with the person.
We need to know what they are about, it is defensive mechanism
But when apart, does anyone know you really are ?
Or do you know who they really are ?
We all say yes, but do you ?
Half the people out there, don't even know who they are.
Do you know who you really are ?
That is the thing about life, we think we know who we are.
Until put in a situation to survive or defend.
So how people think they know us is beyond me in every sense.
As no one is truly in our minds all the way including ourselves..
Our partners know us pretty good, but in the end we don't really
know their minds and them ours.
Usually with deceit and betrayal WITH a thought that was never there..
Madness or out right lost in every way.
Time passes and things come out,
That is right because they think they know you..
We really never know until we reach a situation we never have had
where different emotions play a key roll.
Only then do we really know ourselves or another..
Even then it is still something at 44 I have never figured out."
