The word sorry

"Sorry is a word commonly used,
but seldom ever meant.
Thrown out as habit,
By fear or by manners.
Each situation granted its own meaning.
Each having its own tone..
All with the intention of easing the moment.
With the ability of the word differing so much.
Some being sincere,
Some merely just easing the pain of the mind.
Taking the pain away from the heart.
Others to sluff another off.
Some just to send tensions soaring...
While meaningful words are gone this day and
age.
This is one that should not be gone or over used..
But again sorry is just a word commonly used,
but seldom ever meant.
