Broken hearts

"As our hearts break, tear and leave scars,
One could never imagine the intent the heart has when it embraces another,
Therefore dismantling the mind and body upon being broken,
The eyes,
The face,
The skin tone
All reminders of the loss of love
Loss of comfort.
With the mind and heart suddenly creating defensive walls,
To ward off the pain and hurt that follows.
Being hearts are created differently,
Leaving each one broken in different ways.
One can only imagine or think of how unbearable being broken really is.
